Mayweather v McGregor weigh in!
Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather have both made weight for tomorrows super showdown at the T-Mobile arena in Las Vegas.
The highly popular Irishman weighed in at 153lbs (10st 13Ibs) whereas his American and undefeated opponent Mayweather weighed in at 149Ibs that was well inside the weight limit where 155lbs McGregor’s normal weight was the maximum.
With McGregor’s antics trying to get into Mayweather’s head the American looked cool while the man from Crumlin was doing all the talking ahead of his first ever boxing match. McGregor said after he got of the scales “I’m going to breeze through him. I’m professional, I make weight, it is a sacrifice but I make it, I’m ready.
“I will be bigger, a lot bigger than him, close to 170Ibs. There is a saying you will never beat the Irish, Las Vegas is Ireland now. I’ll stomp my foot right in the centre of the ring. I see a man afraid and you will see tomorrow”.
Mayweather said “Weight doesn’t win fights, fighting wins fights. It will not go the distance, mark my words. I just want to thank the fans, this will be Conor McGregor’s last fight as well”. “The fans can’t fight for you it comes down to the two competitors. Forty-nine times I have been out there and it is one on one”.
So, with all the hype and talking over it is finally time for the action to take place and what a spectacle it should be.
