Two warriors set for war for a third time?
Nigel Benn and Steve Collins have agreed to fight for a third time, with reports suggesting it will happen in October or November, but no venue or official confirmation has been published as of yet.
Neither man has fought since the 1990s, with Nigel Benn retiring from the sport in 1996 after back to back defeats against Collins, and the Irishman retiring in 1997 following a successful defence of his WBO World super middleweight title against Craig Cummings.
Nigel, has been craving a comeback to the ring, since his son Connor turned professional and has talked about a fight against Chris Eubank Snr, but when that failed to materialise he turned to Steve Collins who agreed to the bout.
With both men over the age of 50 and having been inactive for a longtime, it remains unclear whether the British Boxing Board Of Control (BBBoC) will sanction the fight, meaning that they will have to look abroad for a body to do so.
If the third fight was to take place, who do you think would win? Let us know in the comments below….
